Hi everyone,
just wondering for those of you who attended the walkathon last year what you thought of the location? (I believe it was Couchiching Beach Millenium Trail?)
One participant mentioned that it would be nice to have option of a longer trail - soo, I was thinking that looking at the Oro-Medonte Rail line might be a possibility.. There is a really nice, BIG, rarely used parking lot on line 15 South (just 1 km past Concord Candles)right at the trail which could be used as a base of operations ie. picnic spot!
It's a great trail, from 15th to 14th line is 2.5km through the forest(some participants can go further to the 13th for an extra challenge!) Only problem is the trail isn't paved, sorry rollerbladers!!
