Thank you for your interest in Orillia Christian School.  We are very excited about our school and the unique Christ-centered education that it offers to Orillia and the surrounding community.  It is a pleasure to further acquaint you with O.C.S. by means of this information package.  Included are items detailing various aspects of our school and its operation.  One item that may be of particular interest to you is the Educational Guidelines section of our constitution.  It forms the philosophical foundation of Orillia Christian School.  Please read these items over carefully.  Should this package lead you to further questions, please feel free to contact me at the school.  If you would like to visit the school or observe a particular classroom in progress, a visit can be arranged with prior notice.

If you are applying for membership or enrollment please follow these procedures:

1) Please read ALL information in this packet.

2) Complete all forms in your package.

3) Please submit the completed forms promptly to the school office. If applicable, provide photocopies of the child’s/children’s Birth Certificates and Immunization record.

4) Once the forms have been completed, the Membership/Admissions Committee will contact you to arrange an interview at a mutually convenient time.

5) Your completed application will be processed by the Admissions/Membership Committee at their next regularly scheduled monthly meeting.

6) The Admissions Committee may request the Education Committee to access the application if there appears to be specific educational needs identified.

7) Your application will be presented to the Board at their regularly scheduled monthly meeting.  Final approval of your application will be decided at this time.
